Mad Rock Climbing Shoes

In 2002, Mad Rock began as a small company that made state-of-the art, highly technical and reasonably priced rock climbing shoes. It's really impressive how different each of their shoes are, in terms of appearance, how they are built, even the names of each shoe has a unique touch. The "Mad Rock Super Loco" and "Mad Rock Hooker EZ 2008" are two perfect examples when comparing just how different each type of shoe is.

The "Mad Rock Super Loco" is quite the flashy looking shoe, in fact your feet will likely get some second looks! On the side of this shoe as well as on the triple strap enclosure system, you will find some red hot flames which match the whole idea of the shoe! The shoe itself has a down turned toe which is better on heel hooks, toe hooks and edges. In addition, it also features a neoprene tongue, thin padded lining and seamless binding tape around the ankle for support.

Moving on to the "Mad Rock Hooker EZ 2008"… it's also a sharp looking shoe but not quite as flashy as the "Mad Rock Super Loco". The Hooker EZ has triple strap closures which provides the comfortable feeling of a regular lace up shoe and yet has the adaptability of a strap shoe. Other features of this masterpiece include deeper heel grooves and the prominent ribbing provides better potential for toe hooking.

Mad Rock is clearly unlike any other shoe company out there. "Innovation" isn't just another catchy phrase in the eyes of this company- it's actually a challenge that they strive to meet on a daily basis! Some other examples of "Mad Rock" shoes include: Mad Rock Trickster, Mad Rock Switchback and Mad Rock Con-Cept.
